Asher Selle is a photographer from Kansas City, Missouri currently living in Brooklyn, New York. In their photography work, they explore themes of identity, relationships, and movement through time and space.
Selle is an avid zine-maker, and has independently published several editions of photo- and text-based zines. Their publications are held in the Gay and Lesbian Archives of Mid-America in Kansas City, MO and the library at the International Center of Photography in New York, NY. As a publisher, they have tabled at Kansas City Zinecon, the Trans Art Bazaar, and the International Center of Photography's Photobook Fest, among other festivals. In 2024, Selle launched Studio 21, an image-forward creative press.
